Ride For Kids®
Sunday, September 21st, 2008Come join thousands of your motorcyclist friends and help us help the medical research community find the cause and the cure of childhood brain tumors. When you ride with us side by side in that endless column of bikes, people waving at you a every turn, you know you're making a positive statement for our sport at the same time.
Thanks to every one of our participants, we raised over $200,000 in 2007 towards finding the casue and cure for Pediatric Brain Tumors, and our goal for 2008 is to raise a minimum of $223,500 to fight this deadly disease.
The minimum donation to participate in this event is $35. For every $300 raised by participants, you will be entered into a drawing to win a brand new 2008 Honda VTX donated by American Honda.
Based upon the amount of donations raised, premiums will be distributed to our ride participants as follows:
- $35 - $49.99 Ride Pin
- $50 - $99.99 Ride T-Shirt, plus items in the category above
- $100 - $299.99 Second Ride T-Shirt, plus items in the category above
- $300 - $499.99 Chance to win a 2008 Honda VTX, Ride Cap, plus items in the category above
- $500 - $599.99 Embroidered jacket, plus items in the category above
- $600 - $749.99 A second chance to win the 2008 Honda VTX, (2 chances total), plus items in the category above
- $750 - $899.99 Second Ride Cap, plus items in the category above
- $900 - $999.99 A third chance to win the 2008 Honda VTX (3 chances total), second embroidered jacket, plus items in the category above
- $1,000 - $4,999.99 Ride Photo plaque with you and the Ride for Kids 'Stars', plus items in the category above
- OVER $5,000 Special Recognition as a member of the Ride for Kids® Champions Club, including a commemorative embroidered jacket, plus items in the category above
The Ride for Kids® is all about caring, and we have placed all the information you need on this site to help you raise funds, and have fun... in this unforgettable event.
The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (PBTF) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that seeks to find the cause and cure of brain tumors in children by supporting medical research, increasing public awareness of the disease and aiding in early detection and treatment of childhood brain tumors.
